OCEAN DIVISION

Florida International Warehouse and Logistics is a US Customs  Bonded Warehouse

Companies that rely on ocean freight shipping services to transport cargo understand the importance of choosing a trusted shipping company and the enormous implications an inexperienced freight broker or consultant can have if the shipment goes wrong or gets held up in  Customs. Our vast knowledge and years of experience in the movement of freight makes an integral part when it comes to getting your ocean  shipments delivered in a timely fashion.

We offer a complete range of ocean import and export freight services including general cargo, specialized items, oversized loads, heavy equipment, hazmat, and high value. Florida International offers transit with carriers designed to handle specialized cargo, for cargo that doesn’t conform to standard container sizes.

Florida International also offers domestic ocean freight from any domestic port of origin within North America including Hawaii and Alaska as well as commonwealths such as Guam, American Samoa, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands to any domestic destination.

FCL – Full Container Load

Florida International offers door-to-door services including drayage for the full container as well as loading of the containers to the utmost  capacity and preference of the customer. FCL is cargo moving in a  single, rigid, sealed reusable metal container in which the merchandise is shipped by an ocean carrier. All containers will have construction fittings, or fastenings able to withstand without permanent distortion,  all stresses that may be applied in normal service use of continuous transportation. Shipping full containers help lower shipping costs.

LCL – Less than Container Load

Florida International’s expert consolidation services can combine smaller shipments (LCL) that are going to the same destination port, and provide you with reduced shipping costs. At the port of destination, we carefully de-consolidate the shipment and delivery to the final destination. A less than container load (LCL) shipment is a shipment of cargo that does not fill a container and is merged with cargo for more than one consignee or from more than one shipper. LCL freight costs are based on a dollar amount per cubic meter.

Florida International has an extensive network of FCL and LCL carriers who can accommodate almost any commercial shipment.
